This comprehensive program gives you the tools to be successful and confident in the industry through private coaching sessions, semiprivate, on-camera scene-study, and advanced audition techniques. Michael custom tailors this detailed program for actors of all ages and gives you the techniques and guidance to jump start your career.
The Certificate Program has three steps:
1. Private Coaching Session – 6x1 hour sessions
For actors of all ages (beginners & advanced)
Michael Caruana offers focused and challenging one-on-one training sessions in a supportive environment. bongo productions’ training encourages a deeper personal connection to the text, utilizing intuitive and analytical approaches.

2. Semiprivate, On-Camera Scene-Study – 3x2 hour sessions
Actors are paired up with an appropriate scene partner for a series of three, two-hour sessions.
You work with another actor on compelling film & television scenes and apply preparation techniques that combine script analysis with intuitive (feeling) work to develop a deeper, more personal connection to the character. These sessions focus on rigorous preparation plus exploring screen acting technique through recording with playback, critique, demonstration and discussion.

6 Drop-in Scene-Study Classes
These classes are focused, fun and designed to give you more flexibility in your own schedule — making it easier for you to practice the craft you love. All work is taped with supportive direction,playback and critique and can be added to your reel in order to get more bookings!
3. On-Camera Audition Workshops
Our audition workshops offer valuable knowledge, tools and techniques for actors wanting to compete and accelerate their careers to the next level.
Our workshops address common problems that hold actors back, offering students actual, realistic and valuable strategies to address these hurdles and land new roles. Workshops are offered throughout the year for kids, teens and adults.
Workshop Overview: Sure-fire preparation techniques – The Given Circumstances, The Guideposts, Script Analysis – The Journey of the scene, Memorization Tips, Detailed On-Camera Work, Meisner’s Exercises, Relaxation – Dealing with Nerves, Cold Reading Skills, Who’s Who in our Industry and On Set – What to Wear, Slating – Enthusiasm: The will to play, and Nailing the part!
Our On-Camera Audition Workshop for film, television and commercials are group workshops intended for actors all ages and appropriate for all experience levels. Michael Caruana offers direction, demonstration and technique to help actors succeed in the audition room. With experience on both sides of the camera, in industry, as a successful professional actor, coaching and casting, Michael’s approach includes detailed and proven, process oriented preparation strategies and techniques. Students work on commercial, film and television scripts. All work is taped with supportive direction, playback and critique.

The Agent Referral
The referral is optional upon completion of the Certificate Program. A separate editing / consultation session is required to assemble highlights of work at a cost of $99 plus HST.
